GLOBIS USA Online Launch Event
Guest Speaker: Mr. Tom Kelley, Partner at IDEO, Founder and Chairman at D4V
Dialogue Partner: Tomoya Nakamura, President at GLOBIS USA
GLOBIS USA is honored to welcome Mr. Tom Kelley for an exclusive event to celebrate the launch of GLOBIS USA in San Francisco.
During the event, Mr. Kelley will share various insights on Creative Confidence and how it can be leveraged at startups across the world.
Creative Confidence is about believing in your ability to create change in the world around you. Mr. Tom Kelley and his brother, Mr. David Kelley believe this self-assurance, this belief in your creative capacity lies at the heart of innovation. Creative Confidence also acts as a muscle—it can be strengthened and nurtured through effort and experience.
In addition to discussions on Creative Confidence, Mr. Kelley and his dialogue partner Mr. Nakamura will also dig deeper into the impact of design on customer experience, and how it drives Entrepreneurial Growth. They will be covering developments on both sides of the Pacific, including Japan, which is said to be one of the most creative countries in the world.
Mr. Kelley will also be sharing more about his experiences leading D4V (Design for Ventures) which is a Tokyo-based early-stage venture capital firm that invests in disruptive, consumer and enterprise technology startups. Partnering with the global design company IDEO, D4V provides both hands-on assistance and coaching to help startups create value via human-centered customer experiences and interactions.
