Inside Japanese Leadership Philosophy: Learn the Kokorozashi Framework for Your Career
In Japanese, Kokorozashi (志) brings together two powerful elements:
- Shi (士) — your professional expertise, responsibility, and the impact you create through your work
- Kokoro (心) — your heart, compassion, and inner motivation
Together, these form a guiding leadership vision that has shaped many of Japan’s most influential founders, innovators, and changemakers.
During this interactive session, you will:
- Understand the essence of Kokorozashi, and why it has become central to leadership development in Japan.
- Explore the five key components of Kokorozashi, highlighted through real examples of Japanese leaders who achieved meaningful, long-lasting impact.
- Reflect on your own values and aspirations through guided exercises to begin uncovering your personal Kokorozashi.
