Message from the lecturer, Tomoya Nakamura:

Many people have questioned why Japanese products are so precise and why Japanese services are so thoroughly conducted. By looking into Japanese history and arts, I would like to share with you what has been the center of focus in Japanese society. Having this understanding, I believe, will not only help you in comprehending Japanese businesses, but also in making your own life more well-balanced and attuned to nature.

The following are some of the topics that will be discussed in the lecture:

  • Japanese Arts
  • Japanese Festivals
  • Japanese View of Body/Mind/Spirit
  • Common Global Movements
  • Management theory (Theory U, Knowledge-Creating Company, 300-year-old companies)

After the lecture on Japanese Arts and Management, an Admission Advisor will give an orientation to GLOBIS University and our MBA programs, followed by GLOBIS alumni sharing their stories.
