Business Analytics
Analytical skills are important in business in various jobs and functions within an organization. The objectives of this course are to understand the necessary principles and methods of basic quantitative analysis and gain the ability to use quantitative analysis to facilitate decision-making in practical business settings, such as in business planning or creating proposals.
In this course, students will:
- Understand the principles and methods of basic quantitative analysis, which are necessary for managers
- Gain the ability to use quantitative analysis to facilitate decision-making in practical business settings, such as in business planning or creating proposals
- Learn various concepts and analytical methods for processing and interpreting data
- Study methods for forecasting and decision-making using real-world business examples
On Day 1, students will learn about the process and significance of quantitative analysis, and how to apply the steps of problem solving. From Day 2 onwards, students will learn various concepts and analytical methods for processing and interpreting data, as well as methods for forecasting and decision-making using real-world business examples. In addition, on Day 4, students will be able to flexibly utilize the methods they have learned up to that point to carry out a comprehensive developmental exercise.
This course is recommended for all students to acquire basic analytical skills and be able to use quantitative analysis in practical business settings. It is recommended that students take this course as early as possible so that they can apply what they learn to future courses.
