What I Learned During My GLOBIS MBA Experience

My time at GLOBIS has been transformative in more ways than I could have
imagined. One of the most significant realizations was understanding my academic and intellectual strengths and weaknesses. The challenging content and pace of the coursework highlighted areas where I excelled as well as those where I struggled. This self-awareness taught me the value of teamwork. By collaborating with peers who had different strengths, I learned how to leverage the unique capabilities of each team member to achieve both personal growth and collective success.
The GLOBIS MBA also reinforced the importance of discipline and intellectual curiosity. Delving deep into case studies and real-world business challenges, I discovered the criticality and hard work required to identify the root cause of problems and to develop relevant solutions. This approach not only applied to my studies but also reshaped my thinking in a broader context, making me more analytical and solution-oriented in my approach to business challenges.
Beyond the academic and professional growth, GLOBIS offered something even more valuable—friendship. The bonds formed with fellow students was personally my favorite and most memorable aspect of the MBA program. These friendships have enriched my life, providing support, perspective, and happiness, and it made my MBA journey at GLOBIS all the more rewarding.

What I Hope to Accomplish With My New Career Opportunity

As I embark on the next chapter of my career, I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. The first steps towards building a life and career in Japan have already been taken, and I am eager to apply the knowledge and skills gained from GLOBIS in my new position. The curriculum has equipped me with a solid foundation, and I am ready to contribute to my organization, bringing a fresh perspective grounded in both
military and business principles.
I also hope to continue growing, leveraging the intellectual strengths that
GLOBIS helped me uncover. I am eager to work with my new colleagues,
contribute to team efforts, but also to improve the areas where I need further development. The journey of learning is ongoing, and I look forward to the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, knowing that GLOBIS has prepared me with the skills, perspective, and most importantly a great support network.
