“How Servant Leadership Makes Life More Meaningful” Online Kokorozashi Seminar
Details:
Kokorozashi means personal mission in Japanese and is the central part of the GLOBIS MBA. In this seminar, we invite a true Servant Leader from the logistics industry to discuss how serving others makes our lives more meaningful.Servant Leadership is an idea proposed by Robert K. Greenleaf. The idea is to concentrate in serving people more than in boosting yourself as the boss. Although Servant Leadership is taught in every business school, it is rarely practiced in real life. Joining this seminar is a true Servant Leader from the industry, Mr. Chad Eudy.
Mr. Eudy will share with us how he found out about the concept of Servant Leadership, how he started to exercise it, and how his life has changed by it. Contrary to popular belief, Servant Leadership is the way to get more things done with the same resources, while at the same time bringing more joy and meaning to customers, suppliers and employees. If we can have more servant leaders, we believe that we will have a much more happy and meaningful society.
During the seminar, Nakamura-san will have a dialogue with Mr. Eudy on how Servant Leadership can help people find, define and pursue their Kokorozashi or personal mission. Following the dialogue, we would like to invite attendees for a Q&A session with Mr. Eudy and Nakamura-san.
